Colette Knight Scott is the founder of Samana Care, built on more than 30 years of personal caregiving experience and over four decades of entrepreneurial and operational leadership.
Her caregiving experience runs deep and personal: caring for six family members across four decades, owning and operating a licensed daycare, and serving as a foster parent. She also spent time in healthcare administration, auditing clinics across nephrology and dialysis care, some of the most closely-monitored, high-frequency-contact specialties in medicine. That work gave her a first-hand view of the same coordination gaps from inside the system.
"I am the customer, the clinician's ally, and the operator, in one person. I didn't study this problem. I lived it."
Alongside her caregiving background, Colette's career was shaped inside large-scale, multigenerational family businesses. Starting at fifteen years old, she managed and operated family restaurant franchises, including McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Rally's. She was also part of a decade-long family joint venture with Host Marriott, operating 26 concepts inside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. That combination of hands-on caregiving and hands-on operating experience is the foundation Samana Care is built on.
She also brings a background in the arts and a career built around customer experience, which is exactly why Anna was designed to feel warm and human, never clinical.
Leads Samana Care with a rare vantage point: the bedside, the billing office, and the boardroom. Caregiver, administrator, and operator, all in one person.
Andrea spent two decades turning complexity into calm, leading capital projects and day-to-day operations across a mixed-use real estate portfolio. She brings that same steady execution to Samana Care.
